Terms of Use

These terms explain how SafariHills operates, what guests and partners can expect, and the policies that apply to reservations, payments, and property stays.

1. Role of SafariHills

SafariHills operates as a middleman platform connecting property owners ("partners") and guests seeking accommodations for purposes such as sleepovers, vacations, business travel, honeymoons, and more. We do not own or operate the listed properties but pre-vet them before they are listed on the SafariHills app.

2. Third-Party Property Disclaimer

While SafariHills ensures that all properties are pre-vetted, we do not manage, own, or operate these third-party properties. Therefore, we are not responsible for any losses, liabilities, discomfort, stress, abuse, or other issues experienced during a guest's stay.

Guests are encouraged to utilize our feedback and review system incorporated into the platform to make informed booking decisions.

3. Refund Policy

All payments made through SafariHills are final. Refunds will not be issued.

4. Reservation Changes

Changes to reservations can only be made if notice is given at least 72 hours before the check-in date.

If notice is given 48 hours before the check-in date, a 50% charge of the booking amount will apply.

No changes can be made on the check-in date. If guests fail to check in or provide same-day notice, the booking will be forfeited.

5. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in and check-out times are set by property owners. Guests must review these times before booking and adhere to them.

Late check-outs may incur additional charges as determined by the host.

6. Caution Fee Deposit

Guests may be required to pay a caution fee deposit determined by the host, which will be withheld by SafariHills until check-out.

If no claims are made by the host, the caution fee will be refunded to the guest within 72 hours of check-out.

If the host files a claim for property damages:

If the claim amount is less than the caution fee, the balance will be refunded to the guest, and the claim amount will be sent to the host.

If the claim equals or exceeds the caution fee, the entire caution fee will be sent to the host. Guests will not be reimbursed for claims exceeding the caution fee, and it is the host's responsibility to recover additional costs from the guest.

7. Liabilities

SafariHills is not responsible for any damages, losses, liabilities, or criminal activities conducted by guests on the property. Property owners assume all risks associated with hosting guests.

SafariHills is not liable for any losses, liabilities, or other issues experienced during a guest's stay.

8. Credit and Wallet System

Guests may earn credits as part of loyalty rewards or promotional activities. Credits are deposited into the SafariHills wallet and can only be used for bookings if the credit balance is sufficient to cover the booking cost. Credits are non-withdrawable.

9. Property Policies

Policies regarding pets, smoking, parties, children, maximum occupancy, and other rules are determined by property owners. Guests must thoroughly review these policies displayed during the booking process. Failure to comply with these policies may result in eviction without a refund.

10. Modification of Terms

SafariHills reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice to property owners or guests. Continued use of the platform signifies acceptance of any changes.
